      • You personally do not mind giving charity. Others, do though. Making it mandatory would be wrong. If you personally want to spread the wealth, do so, no laws prohibiting it. The thing is though, in this country, we are supposed to have the choice of our actions, we have free will with what to do with our money, so making "donations" mandatory would violate the principles of our country. That is what is wrong with spreading the wealth... not everyone will feel as charitable as you.
