      • Clearly the US is an oligarchy. Many of the founding fathers believed that moneyed elite were the best people to wield power, and that's what we have. The basic flaw in our capitalism allows money to buy the process and we have both parties willing to sell the govt away for legalized bribes.       • Carter Page was no longer part of the campaign when the FISA application was submitted. How were Trump's rights violated? Page's original FISA warrant was in 2014 based on his activity in 2013-2014 when he was commiserating with Russian agents and they were caught talking about how dumb and easy he is to recruit. He also portrayed himself as an advisor to the Kremlin and later lied about meeting with the Russian ambassador and other Russian agents during the campaign. If I do all those things, yes, I should have a FISA case opened against me. I expect that the FBI and CIA would continue to monitor my phone conversations for the rest of my life due to the risk I pose. But I don't shill for our enemies, so I'm not worried about it.

      • Yes masks are not 100% effective, but if youre not going to wear one the only thing more effective is staying home and quarantining non-stop. Otherwise, if you go outside you need a mask. I don't care if Red State people want to die, but don't expect the rest of us to believe your myths and conspiracy theories and red state borders and ports should be closed to prevent infection from spreading to other states that care about beating the virus.

      • I didn't say cases, I said deaths. Of the top 10 states with the highest average daily new cases only 2 are blue states, in order they are TX 7982, FL 6525, CA 6428, GA 3346, TN 1869, IL 1737, LA 1665, NC 1571, AL 1413, SC 1235. 10 states with the highest daily death rates are all Red except 1. They are, in order TX 232, FL 158, CA 134, AZ 55, GA 51, LA 37, SC 36, NC 28, MS 28, TN 21. New York only has about 5 deaths per day, one of the lowest daily death rates. However, if you account for population and measure daily deaths per million people and daily new infections per million people the top 10 states in both categories are Red States (although Nevada flip flops). Top 10 Daily Deaths per Million are MS 9, TX 8, LA 8, AZ 8, FL 7, SC 7, NV 6, GA 5, AL 4, AR 4 and Top 10 Daily New Infections per million are LA 358, MS 318, GA 315, FL 304, AR 294, AL 288, NV 279, TX 275, TN 274, ID 270.       • What gives the US authority to do this? Trump said he is going to send the tankers to Houston. So he is stealing Iranian oil, which is the definition of piracy. What authority does the US have to do this? This is a violation of international law.

      • Carter Page was cooperating with the CIA because he was previously busted being recruited by the Russians. He had a FISA warrant in 2014, 2 years before the election. So stop acting like he's innocent. In 2013 he also presented himself as "informal advisor to the staff of the Kremlin". He also lied about meeting with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign. Also the 2016 FISA application was in October, Page left the Trump campaign in Sept. So stop acting like Page is innocent and that there was spying on the campaign when Page was no longer part of the campaign.
