      • We have lots of small socialist things built into our society. Roads and police come to mind. We all pay taxes according to our income. Part of those taxes pay for roads and police. But our access to those roads and police don't go according to the portion we paid, we all have the same access to the roads and police. That's socialism.

      • Gauranteed time waster. Go buy two cheap harmonicas. During the show, have two girls come up on stage. Tell them, (and the crowd), that you're going to teach them to play the harmonica. All they have to do is breathe in when you tell them, and breathe out when you tell them. The rest of the band fills in with the chords, (I think it's C and G on the basic harmonicas). The lead guitarist can just riff over top of everything. The singer calls out commands to the two girls. They are as follows: Suck and Blow. The band is improvising, the girls are playing the harmonicas into a microphone and getting way embarrased, the singer is yelling out suck, blow, suck, blow, the crowd is laughing histerically. After you've spent enough time to entertain everyone with this, everyone does a big finish and the singer yells out, "swallow". You can kill up to 20 minutes with this and everyone will be entertained and remember your band for this high point of the evening.

      • I was gonna say something along these lines. Incorporate Jennie's and Mile's comments into one. Talk with her. Be up front about it. Convince her that you're actually sorry, not just sorry you got caught. It's the best solution. Get used to resolving all your mistakes this way. It will help down the road.

About Me

I've been coming to this site for years. I've watched a lot of media. I've posted a bunch. I followed the rules, and it wasn't worth it. I'm still waiting on the prize I claimed. Six to eight weeks for delivery. Christmas 2008 was nine weeks. It's now February. I'm on week 15, and still no prize. I only care enough to talk about it here. I'm not gonna call and complain, or write a blog about it, or go in the forums and throw a tantrum. I always wondered if the erep prizes were real. Now I know.

Update: It's now been one year since I claimed an erep prize. Nine months or so from when the new management of the site announced that they were going to honor the erep prize system. They just needed a little time to sort out the records.
