      • Um.... What?... You didn't make much sense. What does my comment have anything to do with money, or me "not questioning authority"? I'm questioning authority right now, am I not? I would venture to say that Americans have questioned, and fought "authority", as much or more than any other Nation in history (Revolutionary war, Civil war, etc), so I really don't see what you're talking about, honestly. It sounds like the formation of your comment is purely based on assumptions you have about Myself, and other Americans, that make entirely no sense. "Americans will never stand up for what they believe in because they have been bread to not believe in anything but money".... First off. Bred*. Secondly. What are you talking about?

      • What. The. Fuck. It's like they're holding these meetings just for show. To make it look like they give a flying fuck about what you think. Then the moment you have something to say, get out, you're under arrest. This nanny state "we know whats good for you better than you do", crap is getting fucking old. This is OUR Country. You're just up there to represent the will of the people, not make the decisions for us because "I know what's best".

      • Not to mention that I wouldn't sign them off for a Checkride, or solo (but odds are that they would be proficient since the training is still fresh in their minds). Shit happens, and in Aviation, you have to be prepared for that, or you'll get yourself into a world of trouble.

      • I'm confused. Why are people thumbing lovelessk999 down? BRS chutes are a great resource to have at your disposal in the event of a structural failure, but seriously, if your engine fails, fly the fucking airplane. If you ever get stuck in the dreaded VFR in IMC situation, and you freak out, you need to go get some more instruction. That's why recurrent training is necessary. Even VFR only Private Pilots must be able to successfully, and competently maneuver a plane in IMC. It's in the PTS, and FAR's. The only reason I could see outside of a structural failure to pull the chute is if you had a pitot/static blockage, AND, a vacuum system failure in IMC. I'm a CFI, CFII, and MEI, and I would NEVER sign someone off on a BFR unless they were proficient enough under the hood to maneuver for 10 minutes without a problem (standard rate turns, climbs/descents while turning, etc).

      • I noticed that you just say he's a "sleezeball, fat-ass, etc.". The funny thing, is you don't hear conservatives spouting names like that towards liberals. We use rational thought instead of name calling like a teenage girl on her period.
