      • That's kind of my point. Everyone shares these feelings in some form or another, and all we do is pat each other on the back for noticing. We look up to people who state these things eloquently. And the people who try to make a difference do so without a level head, making rash decisions and sounding like extremists (feminazis, hippies).Why can't rational, level-headed, intelligent people not only come up with a solution, but also implement it?

      • Brilliant observation. What better way to stick it to the man than to... tell the cop he's wrong and escalate the situation. Of course it's not like he could have cooperated after asking if he had to get out and argued in court later.I'm stupid, when a cop asked me to get out of my car, I asked him if I had to, and when he said yes, I got out. I didn't get a ticket, and he was very accommodating once I demonstrated I wasn't an idiot or a trouble maker, but damn I should have yelled, refused, and got beat to the ground.
