      • Think of this video compared to any music video today. Think about how simple this video is compared to the so called entertainment you see all of the time in America. I don't know what anyone says... this is infinitely better than anything we have today. Especially the dancing.

      • Hahaha... I promise you that at least half of these will be laws within 2 years of his presidency.

      • They key word is significant, and somehow I doubt that Christian fundamentalists alone got him elected twice. Even if fundamentalists love him, people still love guys like Lenin and Stalin. What does it matter if some portion of the population loves him? Come over to the Northeast and see the cult of personality forming around Obama - a man who has done literally nothing in gov't. Imagine if he succeeds at something.

      • Tomlet, how did Bush ever have a significant cult of personality? What is his approval rating again? But even if you're right, let me say this: The left typically have a cult of personality that is much more harmful and dangerous than the right's.

      • It's people prejudices that egged on racism. The government, at most, condoned immoral behavior or looked the other way. Racism was rooted in people's hearts until a number of activists stood up and did something about it. And even if the government is partly to blame, I don't think real change comes from the top, nor should it come from Obama's mouth and the Democrat Congress. If anything the government, through the judiciary, has done more to advance social causes than anything else. Otherwise, gay marriage wouldn't even be debatable, as most Americans do not agree with it (or are apathetic) and thus it's never been put to a state vote and won. The judiciary found gay marriage legal in place like Massachusetts. Activists know they'd lose if it was put to a vote, so they attempt to change society from the top, which is ridiculous and against this country's point.
